The XplorIR is a powerful handheld gas identification system for hotzone use that can identify up to 5,500 gases. The Team Leader app allows Hazmat team leaders and decision makers to receive critical information in near real-time from the XplorIR. The user in the hotzone receives the name of the gas, primary hazards, and PID correction on XplorIR's screen. However, the Team Leader app provides the team leader with all of this info and more, including GHS precautionaries, Properties, Hazard statements, Personal protections, Symptom information etc.
The free Team Leader app works independently as a database of 22,000 solids & liquids and 5,500 gases. When paired with XplorIR, it becomes a critical decision-making tool in scene mitigation. The Hazmat team leader can now review spectra from the XplorIR and advise the user downrange to proceed to a better sampling area, flush the cell, or take additional actions for best results.
